REACHE supports refugee health professionals who live in the North West and in this podcast Anne explains to Ben how the organisation was formed, how it operates and what impact it has on the lives of refugee and asylum seeking doctors, nurses and other health professionals.

I really want to find out what needs to be done in order for my Ukrainian guest who is a 53 year old nurse, but speaks no English to enable her to work in any capacity. She arrived on Saturday night and has had one English lesson on Zoom and is due to have another lesson this evening from a friend of mine who is a teacher, but doesn’t have a TEFL qualification.

I’m a registered nurse from Democratic Republic of Congo and live in England since 2008. I came as asylum seeker so I was not allowed to do my nursing job because of the immigration restrictions.
I was given a leave to remain as spouse of a settled person ( my Husband).
I currently working as Health care assistant and support worker ( med trained) since 2016.
I’m looking a way to go back to my dream job which is nurse.
I heard about Reache through my friend and I would like to find more about this organisation.
