This is wonderful. I left primary care nursing, seeing patients get sicker and sicker with conventional diabetes treatment. If I could’ve worked at a practice like this in Australia, I would’ve stayed on another ten years. I took early retirement. I know I helped people via subterfuge, talking to them about low carb, fear of fats etc, showing many the Fresh well app, showing DrDavid Unwin’s sugar infographics, teaching that rice and bread are just glucose.. They were all shocked and awakened but it stops there as they really need GP help if they are to improve markers, then need reduced meds. They still need a team. One lady thanked me, going keto( I couldn’t recommend that really as it does need good supervision) and losing weight. She was a cake decorator that licked every spoon and palette knife. It was killing her.
Anyway, thanks again. Great podcast. Hope it helps many. Jenny, RegisteredNurse still.

This is a game changer. So positive. So inspiring. What we all need to hear about how we can get off our knees again as GPs and change our UK and internationally biggest health problem. Simple and grassroots up rather financially driven change. Thankyou.
